I’m sure it’s no surprise that I’m wearing yet another red skirt with zipper details…told y’all I have a problem. But this one is honestly one of my favorite skirts of all time. The watercolor-like details against bold red, the zipper down the front, and the soft, comfortable, and lightweight feel of the fabric will keep this skirt in my closet for the next 50 years. (I seriously wish you could reach through my computer screen to feel the skirt—maybe someday? #technology) It’s from the Peter Som collection for Anthropologie, and it’s absolutely beautiful. It’s a little pricier than I normally spend on my “work clothes,” but it’s worth every penny. Plus, it can be worn outside the office and year-round. Because it was still 90 degrees in Dallas until very recently, I paired it with this cool sleeveless mixed media top. But since it’s finally getting a bit cooler here I’m planning on mixing it into my fall wardrobe by pairing it with sweaters and cute booties.
