Surprise! Another skirt with zipper details. LOL, I think I’m out of control here. But I just couldn’t pass this wool pencil skirt up. To be honest, I wanted it in a blush pink color but it was sold out so I ordered it in teal and I’m so glad I did. The bold gold zipper against this beautiful teal is a perfect combo, and the teal isn’t too in-your-face, it’s more of a neutral and can really be worn with a variety of different colors. Here I’m wearing it with this comfy chambray shirt, but if you follow me on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter, you’ve also seen me wear it with whites, ivories, pinks, etc. Other reasons I love this skirt? The wool fabric keeps me nice and toasty in my freezing cold office—seriously, I usually have a space heater on and I wrap myself in a blanket (CONFESSION: and I keep socks in my drawer for my toesies). The zipper isn’t a fake zipper - you can actually unzip it to show a little more leg (which I obviously would NOT do in the office, but for happy hour, duh!). And it’s comfortable. Because the zipper actually functions, I can zip it up, sit indian style at work, and wrap myself up in my blanket. Then it’s almost like I’m not even in the office…ALMOST (I’ll take what I can get, ya know?). Xo, AL
