Food Combinations Most People Don’t Know Are Dangerous

We are all guilty of eating the wrong type of food because we are too lazy to eat the right things. Either a busy day at the office or we are just feeling down and find a reason, a reason rather gets our hands on that burger we had been desire all week.
Even as we all try and eat healthily and say “no” to order dessert at dinner, it may not be sufficient.
There are a few combinations that we should avoid.

1. Eggs and Bacon



Something we all like to indulge in, especially at a buffet breakfast. But the high protein contented in the egg and the fat in the bacon is something that gives an instant energy boost as soon as you eat it and this power will vanish very soon, leaving you lethargic.

2. Burger and Fries



Yes, those fries we order to go through our burger without even thinking. The Trans fats in both these food items (since the burger patty and chips are both deeply fried) will lessen your blood sugar levels and more often than not, cause you to feel tired and sleepy.

3. Cereal and Juice



We all like to begin our mornings with something that gives us energy. The mixture of cereal and juice will not give you too much energy to begin your day and may leave you with various amount of discomfort, causing heaviness. The acid in orange juice lesser the action of the enzyme and that breaks down carbohydrates.

4. Pizza and Soda



Something a lot of us are guilty of. The majority of us can’t eat pizza with no fizzy drink. The carbs in the pizza besides with proteins and starch take up a lot of your body’s energy for digestion. In adding up to this, the sugar in the soda slows down digestion and other stomach processes.

5. Olive oil and Nuts




This mixture can make you sick because the protein in nuts and the fat in olive oil do not mix. Hence, the raw fat being digested prevents the protein from being digested.

6. Muffins and Juice

This is one more common breakfast mixture that will leave you feeling tired soon after. This meal trades the protein and fiber you need to start your day for overload carbohydrates, which will boost your blood sugar but it will crash soon after.

7. Tomatoes in Pasta



Hell yes! Who knew this attach meal for a lot of people was not excellent for the body. Pasta is loaded in starchy carbs and difficult to digest. The tomatoes which are very acidic cause hindrance in the digestion of starch and cause bloating.

8. Yogurt with Fruit

A usual breakfast meal and something a lot of us eats without giving it a second thinking. This too is not a very healthy mixture as when the protein-loaded yogurt comes in contact with acidic fruit; it diminishes digestive fibers, produces toxins and may even lead to cold allergies.

9. Fruit after a full meal

We have all, at various point had a fruit instead of that heavy chocolate cake, in our effort to be healthy. This is a bad thought when you are in a full stomach. Eating fruit after a meal doesn’t combine well with other foods since it requires no digestion and causes the other food to stay in the stomach for a long time.

10. Meat and Potatoes



Here are a lot of us who like to eat meat with mashed or grilled potatoes. These two foods collectively can create some digestive problems. The requirement of fiber can cause stomach problems.

11. Lemons and Cough Syrup



Lemons can block the enzymes that are necessary to break down statins and other drugs, including the cough suppressant dextromethorphan. If not broken down, the medicine can make up in the bloodstream, causing different side effects.

12. Bananas and Milk

This mixture is a very heavy one and is very toxin forming. It is said to make heaviness in the body and slow down the mind.

13. Apple Juice and Allergy Medicines




The nectar commencing apples affects the absorption of the allergy tablets in the bloodstream. This causes the medicine to become up to 70% less effective.
